Thank You Pastor Donna & Welcome Pastor Rebecca!

On June 28, Pastor Donna gave her last sermon as the preacher of both Fairview and UMC St. Clair. Her words were accompanied by meaningful hymns, humorous and touching remarks from her husband, Ron, and a retirement prayer. The Grubville and St. Clair congregations joined in worship together and celebrated our pastor's retirement with a joyful fellowship meal. We are eternally grateful for Rev. Donna and Ron's service to our churches and their warm spirits for touching our hearts.

The following weekend, on July 5, our churches welcomed the fabulous Rev. Rebecca Dunger Peak as our new pastor. Pastor Rebecca has begun weaving our family together into a new body of Christ with excitement and passion for scripture. Fairview observes this time of transition with gratitude to have been led and impacted by two incredible women who embody our joy for worship, community, and relationship.
